?? Last Wednesday, our Latin American ERG hosted a vibrant event at our main office to celebrate Caribbean Culture! The room came alive with music stickers, photos, starry tablecloths, and more. Members prepared delicious Latin food, sweet cupcakes, and special drinks for everyone to enjoy. Employees marked their origins on a wall map, creating a beautiful tapestry of our diverse community. The day was filled with laughter, dancing, and singing along to Latin tunes. ?????? A huge thank you to everyone who joined us! Hispanic Heritage Celebration at Big Six NORC in Woodside, Queens?? Last Friday, Over 30 NORC members were treated to an electrifying Flamenco dance and Spanish song performance by Inma Heredia. A big thank you to our amazing community partner, Fundacion Yolanda La Prea. They also transformed our Community Room with vibrant flags and photos! Fall Classic 2024 Success ? We're thrilled to share that our Fall Classic was successful! Thanks to your support, we raised vital funds for the 5,000+ Holocaust survivors in our care and low-income older adults in our affordable housing. The day kicked off with brunch, followed by golf and pickleball, with 140 golfers and 20+ pickleball players joining the fun. We wrapped up with a cocktail reception, dinner, and awards, honoring Daniel O'Brien of Newmark with the Fall Classic Impact Award for his outstanding work in affordable housing. A huge shoutout to our amazing co-chairs: Jeff Fells, Brian Marcus, and Jonathan Keiter, whose dedication made this event possible. We're deeply grateful to them and the entire Fall Classic Committee. Thank you to all our supporters and new friends for making this day a triumph for Selfhelp and our clients.
