Congratulations to VoLo Foundation on their inspiring #ClimateCorrection Conference last week. Event Recap: ?? Terrell R. DeJarnett and I represented Self-Help Credit Union in a panel discussion focused on empowering working families to participate in the clean energy transition. Our discussion covered ways to provide affordable capital for home energy efficiency improvements, residential solar, electric vehicles, and energy efficient homes. Additionally, we provided a brief update on the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund and commercial clean energy lending initiatives. ?? SELF (Solar and Energy Loan Fund) is proud to be working with SEEED Knox to advance their “Sustainable Home Improvement Program” (SHIP) in underserved areas of Knox County, TN. SEEED is working closely with local leaders, contractors, NGOs, and their own green job-training programs. They are also building affordable solar homes for the future! We’re just getting started with this partnership, and we hope to do a whole lot more in the coming months and years!
