SeismicPS has been appointed as the independent consultant for the supervision of the design, manufacturing, testing, and installation of the isolation system for a new specialty hospital in Guerrero. ?? It was a pleasure to supervise the full-scale testing of the first 100% Mexican pendulum isolators, designed and tested in accordance with the European standard EN 15129. Congratulations to Dampo Systems for their successful testing campaign! We are proud to be part of this project, which will have 90 beds and benefit more than 100,000 residents in the mountainous region of Guerrero. A great example of resilient infrastructure! ?? ? What a great experience! ???? I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have participated as a keynote speaker at the XXXI CONEIC Ucayali 2024 in Peru. It was a true pleasure to be in Peru and share with civil engineering students from across the country. It was an honor to share the stage with Arq. Catherine Ricaldi B., a truly inspirational leader, and other distinguished speakers in civil engineering, and to also share experiences with Kenneth Bruno Garcia Lizarbe. I leave with many ideas, questions, and inspiring conversations that underscore the importance of continuing to drive innovation in our profession to create a safer and more resilient future.
