The Gauntlet is a friendly competition where students are asked to demonstrate a range of professional traits such as confidence, enthusiasm, honesty, respect, and social grace in a series of scenarios. Each scenario is a different station and running the gauntlet involves completing the task at each station. ? Students compete over four rounds. The top prize is a $5,000 scholarship while the next three top contestants each win a $2,000 scholarship. Seidman College faculty, staff and students hosted Round 2 in the Loosemore Forum on Wednesday, Nov. 20th. Twenty Ottawa Hills 9th-12th graders participated by running the gauntlet of five stations. Seidman undergraduate and graduate students engaged with the students as team leads as well as helping roleplay the station scenarios. This is all part of our commitment to community engagement.
