We're so fortunate to have caring students at GVSU who spent their spring break having a positive community impact! Laker Pride!
Lakers making a difference! Over spring break, nearly 30 GVSU students with Students Leaving a Mark (SLAM) traveled to Asheville, NC, to support a community still recovering from Hurricane Helene. For four days, they cleared and cleaned yards, worked in warehouses, and stocked pantry shelves, leaving a lasting impact.?? SLAM alumni often reconnect to help out. This year, the trip headed to Asheville after Cory Jackson ’12, reached out for help in his community. Learn more about this trip at gvsu.edu/s/37j
