Segerstrom Center for the Arts is one of the nation’s most respected multi-disciplinary cultural institutions and Orange County’s largest non-profit arts organization. The Center remains committed to supporting artistic excellence, offering unsurpassed experiences and engaging the entire community in new and exciting ways through the unique power of live performance and a diverse array of inspiring arts-based education and community engagement programs. Previously called the Orange County Performing Arts Center, Segerstrom Center traces its roots back to the late 1960s when a dedicated group of community leaders decided Orange County should have its own world-class performing arts venue. Segerstrom Center presents a broad range of programming for audiences of all ages, including international ballet and dance, national tours of top Broadway shows, intimate performances of jazz and cabaret, contemporary artists, classical music performed by renowned chamber orchestras and ensembles, family-friendly programming, free performances on the Argyros Plaza open to the public from outdoor movie screenings to dancing on the plaza and many other special events. The campus also embraces the facilities of two acclaimed independent organizations: Tony? Award-winning South Coast Repertory and a site designated as the future home of the Orange County Museum of Art. It is also the artistic home to the Pacific Symphony, the Philharmonic Society of Orange County and the Pacific Chorale.

South Coast Metro Alliance is offering special ticket prices of $107 for orchestra seating for the August 8 show of Peter Pan at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. The last day to purchase tickets is July 18! This high-flying musical has delighted audiences of all ages for nearly 70 years. May is Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) month. This a time to reflect on and pay tribute to the generations of Asian and Pacific Islanders who have enriched America’s History and who are instrumental in its future success. In celebration of these beautiful cultures Segerstrom Center for the Arts has curated a month-long series of events and Bank of America is a proud sponsor of these events. Yesterday a team of local Bank of America associates had the opportunity to participate in Segerstrom’s screening of Moana in honor of AAPI month. This was a free event open to the community, where families came to partake in arts and crafts, get face paintings, and watched a movie under the stars. Bank of America associates had the opportunity to support the event in two shifts. The morning team was able to put together the Moana themed goodie bags for the participants. The evening team had the privilege of interacting with participants and handing out the bags during the event. Thank you to Sarah Boardman for welcoming our team and allowing us to participate in this fun event for families.
