The wait is over! ?? As You Are is OPEN and officially scheduling autism diagnostic evaluations. We're beyond thrilled to share with our community that we have re-opened our virtual doors. Over the past few months, we've been working on improving our operations to better serve families across the nation. We're grateful for the trust our patients, healthcare partners, and team members have placed in us. As we embark on this new chapter, we remain dedicated to our mission of providing timely, comprehensive care to children and support to their families. Thank you for your continued support. We're excited to announce our collaboration with Included Health to provide faster access to pediatric autism diagnostic evaluations for their employers, working parents, and their kids younger than 10 years old, nationwide. Did you know that the scarcity of healthcare providers has created a national crisis for pediatric patients needing autism evaluations? Nearly 1 in 5 children will experience a mental, emotional, or behavioral challenge requiring a diagnostic evaluation. And 1 in 36 kids will ultimately be diagnosed with autism. Yet, families currently face an average wait of over 2 years for an autism diagnosis. For employers, this delay alone can double the healthcare utilization costs for each pediatric patient.
