What’s your CPG Thanksgiving promotion strategy???? News headlines?consistently report that consumer shoppers are more concerned about increased prices this Thanksgiving and are planning to shop further ahead.?Seek AI, the natural language interface for analyzing data is able to show the shift between in-store and digital ordering transaction sizes last Thanksgiving with data provided by our partner Cybersyn, the consumer spend intelligence provider. ? New shopping insights analyzed by Seek show average transaction size for digital Thanksgiving week grocery orders was led by Publix Super Markets at $89 vs. $48 spent in-store, a 60% difference.?Wegmans, Albertsons, Kroger, and Aldi stores all saw an average of about $70-$74 spent on digital orders while in-store spend varied between $40 to $58. Meijer stores saw the smallest gap in average transaction size, with $58 spent on digital orders and $57 in-store.? ?
