Our 2025 Public health interns, Morgan Kondratick and Molly Phillips of UNCW, attended a meeting with one of our funders, The Endowment. They shared insights on their learning experience with our agency. This was a great opportunity to share more about the impact our agency is making through a socio-ecological approach to ending the HIV epidemic. We met with President and CEO Daniel Winslow and learned more about the vision of a successful partnership to serve our region. Over the past three years, The Endowment has supported our programs to enrich student learning for the HIV workforce, provide a safe space for clients to receive support, and enhance the professional development of staff with lived experience who contribute their meaningful involvement.

Exciting news! The deadline to submit your abstract application for AIDSWatch 2025 has been extended to December 6, 2024, at 11:59 PM ET. This extension gives you more time to finalize your ideas and proposals to host a workshop at this year’s AIDSWatch, taking place March 16-18, 2025, in Washington, D.C. We’re looking for inspiring and impactful workshops related to HIV policy to be held in person on Monday, March 17th. Each workshop will last approximately one hour. This year’s theme, "Preserving our Health and PrEParing for the Future!", emphasizes the need to connect the science with advocacy, build new Congressional champions, and accelerate progress to ensure the overall well-being of our communities. HIV sits at the intersection of multiple social movements and health topics, and together we can continue to preserve, protect, and advocate for an end to the HIV epidemic. Submit your abstract and join us in shaping critical conversations at AIDSWatch 2025. Let’s make a difference together!
