“Colville has one of the coolest benefit packages I’ve ever seen.” – Thomas Tapp, Co-Founder, Seed Media Getting to work behind the scenes with organizations like Colville is one of the things we value most. As Thomas shared, Colville self-insures their employees—meaning when someone needs care, Colville fights for their people. It’s not just a policy on paper. It’s real advocacy when it matters most. A $25,000 hospital bill—gone. Because Colville stepped in. That’s the kind of story we love helping tell. Because the right story attracts the right people. And the right people? They stay. At Seed Media, we help organizations like Colville, Inc. show the heart behind what they do—so they can build teams that last. DM us or visit seedmedia.us to see how story can work for you.

The right story doesn’t just attract. It filters. When you’re hiring for a place like Alaska, it’s not about selling the dream. It’s about telling the truth. The winters are long. The nights are dark. The cold gets in your bones. This life will challenge you. But if you can see past that, if you’re ready to lean in. It’s worth it. The mountains. The work. The community. The kind of life that pushes you and rewards you. When we work with organizations like Copper Valley Electric Association, Inc., we don’t create videos to sell sunshine. We help tell the real story. The hard stuff. The good stuff. All of it. Because the right story doesn’t bring in everyone. It brings in the right one. And the right person? They stay. They thrive. They save you time, money, and headaches. That’s the power of getting the story right. At Seed Media, we help great organizations like CVEA do exactly that. DM us or visit seedmedia.us to see how story can help you build your team for the long haul.

How do you build something from nothing? You start where you are. You use what you have. You figure it out. Seed Media wasn’t built in a fancy office. In the early days, we couldn’t afford one. So we renovated a school bus into a mobile studio. For years, we edited, shot, and built from that bus. We ran media camps. We traveled. We learned to adapt. It wasn’t easy, but it shaped us. It made us scrappy. It taught us that great storytelling isn’t about having the perfect setup—it’s about capturing something real. That mindset is still at the core of everything we do today. Every company has a story. The right strategy makes it unforgettable. Story first. Strategy first. The rest will follow. Let’s bring yours to life. Telling Alaskan Stories for Essential Industries | Building Alaska’s Drone Future, One Pilot at a Time | Co-Founder @ Seed Media?, AKDRONE? & Alaska Advertising

“Get a real job.” I heard it more times than I can count. From people I loved. People who meant well. But building something from nothing takes stubbornness. It takes pushing through when the money isn’t there. It takes being scrappy, figuring it out, and moving forward anyway. Early on, we made a decision to stay debt-free and move at the speed of cash. At the time, it felt slow. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions we ever made. Every step of growth made us stronger because of it. We couldn’t afford an office. So we renovated a school bus into a mobile studio. For years we edited from that bus. Shot from that bus. Built from that bus. It was small beginnings, but big things grow from small places. That’s what Seed Media was always about. A small idea. A seed that grows into something bigger. If you’re building something from nothing, keep going.

How do you attract the right people to your team? You tell a story that matters. Colville, Inc. has been fueling Alaska for over 60 years. Their drivers cross three mountain ranges, one of North America’s largest rivers, and some of the toughest terrain on the planet. For them, it’s just another day. When Colville came to us, they needed more than just another recruitment campaign. They needed to tell a story—one that reflects the grit, pride, and responsibility that keeps Alaska moving. So we built that story. We listened. We captured. We shaped it into something real. Because we don’t just capture images—we aim to inspire. Now, instead of just looking for drivers, they’re attracting the kind of people who want to be part of something bigger. This is Colville Transport—and their role in keeping Alaska (and a good part of the world) moving. At Seed Media, we help great companies like Colville tell their story—the right way. If you know you're part of a great company, your story deserves to be told. Let’s make it happen. DM us or visit seedmedia.us to get started.

Telling Alaskan Stories for Essential Industries | Building Alaska’s Drone Future, One Pilot at a Time | Co-Founder @ Seed Media?, AKDRONE? & Alaska Advertising

I spent countless hours in the seat of that truck. I started in fuel delivery during my second year of marriage, with my first child just a year old. Life was good. I had big plans to climb the oil field career ladder and build a future. But while I logged those miles driving that truck, another dream started to take shape. On the side, I was building a video production company with my business partner, Jorge Arciniega. Three years into delivering fuel, I hit a crossroads. I chased the next step in my oil career and pushed hard for it. The door kept closing. So, I made a decision. The next door that shuts? That’s it. I’m going all in on Seed Media. And that’s exactly what happened. There’s more to that story, but here’s where it led—to places I never expected. It led to working alongside CEOs, COOs, founders, and the teams that keep Alaska moving. Like Colville, Inc.—a company that’s been at it for over 60 years. We’ve found that we’re built to work with great people and great companies. One of the best parts of my job now? Getting behind the scenes. Telling the stories that don’t always get told. From hauling fuel to telling the stories of those who do, the journey has come full circle. This is Colville Transport—and their role in keeping Alaska (and a good part of the world) moving. A great company. Great people. And guess what? They’re also looking for more great people to join their team. If you’re up for an adventurous career, check them out. colvilleinc.com P.S. If you didn’t know, at Seed Media, we help great companies like Colville tell their story—the right way. If you’re ready to share yours, let’s talk. How do you capture the essence of a company like Colville? For over 60 years, Colville, Inc. has been a cornerstone of Alaska. They fuel the North Slope, support industries across the state, and empower the communities they serve. But telling their story wasn’t about just showing what they do—it was about showing who they are. Colville’s team drives from Valdez to Prudhoe Bay—also known as Deadhorse—every day. That’s 850 miles of rugged terrain, including the Dalton Highway, one of the most remote and challenging roads in North America. They are the original ice road truckers. Navigating this harsh environment isn’t just part of their job—it’s part of their identity. It’s about resilience, grit, and a commitment to keeping Alaska moving. And their mission? To be the most badass company in Alaska. At Seed Media, we traveled across the state to help bring that story to life. From capturing the epic landscapes they traverse to showcasing the pride and grit of their team, every piece of content we created was about one thing: the people behind the mission. It’s not just about trucks and fuel—it’s about the spirit that keeps Alaska moving. Here’s a glimpse of what we captured along the way. We’re proud to partner with companies like Colville and share their incredible stories. If you’re curious about how we can help your organization tell its story, we’d love to chat. 850 miles. That’s the distance from Valdez to Prudhoe Bay—also known as Deadhorse. It’s one of the most remote and unforgiving roads in North America. For most of us, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime journey. For Colville, Inc., it’s just another day on the job. They are the original ice road truckers, fueling Alaska’s North Slope and supporting the industries that keep this state moving. When they told us their mission was to be the most badass company in Alaska, we knew we were in for a ride. From Valdez to the North Slope, we set out to capture their story. Not just the scale of the terrain or the machinery, but the people. The ones driving those roads every day. The ones making it all happen. Here’s a glimpse of the epic landscapes and hardworking people behind the mission. PS: At Seed Media, we’re proud to work alongside companies like Colville who share our passion for Alaska. If you’re curious about how stories like this come together, let’s chat.

Are we the right fit? That’s the question I’m always thinking about when I meet with new clients. Sometimes, I even say it out loud. It has to be mutual. Working with a creative agency is an intimate process. We have to do a deep dive into your company—learn how every part of it works. That’s the only way to provide real, end-to-end solutions. It’s a long process, but the results are worth it. We look for the right fit. And we found that in Colville, Inc. An Alaskan company through and through. When we first met, there was a lot to unpack. They’re a big company, serving from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez and everywhere in between. Colville is the sole provider of fuel in the North Slope, playing a critical role in keeping Alaska moving. Their challenge? Recruitment and creating a brand that clearly positions them as the trusted partner—the guide—for their customers and team members. Colville isn’t just about delivering fuel or supporting oil fields; they’re about empowering the industries and communities they serve. Our goal was to help them tell that story in a way that connects with people and inspires trust. Here’s what we discovered needed to be done: -Craft a core message that captures their brand. -Create a cohesive brand image across all of the company’s entities. -Re-design and launch four new websites. -Travel across Alaska—from Valdez to Deadhorse—to capture stunning visuals. -Create countless videos to tell their story. -Launch recruitment campaigns to find the team members who will shape their future. The result of all that work? It’s not just one thing—it’s the foundation for a powerful, cohesive brand. From the core messaging to stunning visuals, countless videos, recruitment campaigns, and a complete rebrand across four websites, every piece has been designed to tell Colville’s story authentically. The launch of their new corporate website is a milestone in this ongoing journey. It brings everything together—imagery, videos, and messaging—showcasing their mission and the incredible work they’ve been doing for decades. Check it out: colvilleinc.com. PS: They’re hiring! If you’re looking for a company with a family culture and incredible benefits, Colville is one of the best I’ve seen. This process together is creating momentum—momentum that reduces the friction of scaling and sets the stage for even greater impact. Soon, I’ll share how this has been built and the work that’s brought their story to life.

Could it be more amazing? Yes, it can. But you’ll never know unless you take a closer look. Curiosity makes a great storyteller, cinematographer, or photographer. It’s about asking questions. Getting lost in the small details. Staying a little longer. Going a little further. The kind of curiosity that makes you wonder, What’s over that ridge? I’ve driven by this spot countless times on the road from Valdez to Anchorage. Always rushing past. Always thinking, “Next time.” But this time, in preparation for our shoot of the Beckah Shae “Awake” music video, I stopped. Just to see. And wow! It didn’t disappoint. It was the perfect location for her powerful performance—a place that embodied the freedom and beauty she wanted to capture. Sometimes, the most amazing things are waiting right there—just beyond the places we take for granted. At Seed Media, our team of curious storytellers is ready to go further and look closer to uncover your story. Let’s see what we can create together: www.seedmedia.us

Making a music video might look glamorous, but it’s anything but. It’s hard. It’s grueling. Plans don’t always go the way you expect. The weather, the angles, the tech, the team—something always throws a curveball. But it’s in those moments that inspiration strikes. Take the shoot for FREEDOM with Beckah Shae. ???????–The owner of Harley-Davidson of Wasilla loaned her his personal Harley for the video—a meticulously kept bike that rolled off the trailer like a dream. ???????–One problem: Beckah had never ridden a motorcycle before. Let alone a stick. We brainstormed every kind of movie magic workaround, but we knew the shot wouldn’t feel real unless she was actually riding. That’s when our two biker safety crew members stepped in. They worked with her all day, starting on a trainer bike. It didn’t go so well. But when the day of the shoot came, she kept it in first gear and nailed it. She rode, and it was perfect. Oh, and did I mention? This project was DP’d and edited by our intern, Ian Blevins. Pretty cool, right? Check out Beckah Shae’s FREEDOM and see the result for yourself. I don't know about you all, but I think Valdez, Alaska, looks great on Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Harley, what do you think?
