And while Blindspot isn’t an official university (yet), we are releasing a webinar dedicated to teaching beginners all about digital out-of-home advertising. ? Even if you’ve done a few campaigns before, we still recommend taking a look at the course because it also contains some best practices that we’ve found can help amplify your brand’s pre-existing advertising. ?     DOOH Design best practices: DO understand size and placement guides In general, different billboard screens are going to have different dimensions. With standard billboard sizes, the things to prioritize are image quality, matching dimensions, and readability. However, there are also non-standard digital billboard screens - such as the famous Nasdaq billboard screen, which is curved and has a grid of black squares peppered across it.

    At the end of the day, most font questions have one answer – use Helvetica. But if you’re confused about which font is best for your campaign, bold and sans-serif fonts are easiest to see from a distance and while in motion. Plus, they create a nice, clean, and simple look that is acceptable just about anywhere.?

    Lumos House Day 4 is happening live. But let's take a second to talk about yesterday. To all who attended our Marketing Leaders Brunch, we hope you found the networking opportunity as delicious as the food was. We can't thank Lina Maggi enough for sharing her wisdom during the Beyond the Billboard panel with Matei Psatta, that she's gained with BCN Visuals | 3D Billboards . When it comes to 3D OOH advertising, she's one of the best around (and we don't say that lightly). Thank you also to Euwyn Poon for sharing his story of he took Spin from just an idea he had to a multimillion dollar valuation and sale. He's the dream story every founder aspires to be. Big thank you also to Seb Webber for his fireside chat today about his experience in the music biz and how no amount of marketing budget will sell something people don’t want. The guy's a literal rock star and we can't overstate how thrilled we are to be working with him. And don't worry if you missed any of those chats - a recording of them will be live and available on Blindspot's social channels very soon. Stay tuned.
