?? Join Our Team: Project Administrator Opportunity ?? Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about making a difference in communities? Southeast Tennessee Development District (SETD) is looking for a Project Administrator to join our team and play a key role in managing projects that empower local governments, businesses, and communities in our region. ?? Position Overview As a Project Administrator, you will assist local governments in managing state and federal funding programs while ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations. You’ll oversee projects from initiation to completion, building strong relationships with funding agencies and community stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for someone who values collaboration, problem-solving, and making a tangible impact through their work. Principal Duties and Responsibilities -Assist local governments with the successful administration of state and federal funding, ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. -Conduct on-site visits to monitor projects and assess adherence to federal, state, and local requirements. -Make recommendations to improve grant contracts and assist with revisions as needed. -Submit Requests for Payment and Requests for Reimbursement for assigned projects. -Prepare and maintain reports related to project development and administration. -Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with funding agencies, partners, and stakeholders. -Serve as the main point of contact for project-related inquiries and communications. -Collaborate with the Project Administration Team to ensure efficient project management processes. Requirements -Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree, OR -Full-time professional analytic experience, substitutable for required education on a year-for-year basis (up to four years). ? Congratulations to our local governments who were awarded these grants. SETD CED staff worked for months to help our communities secure this funding. Bledsoe County, the City of Dayton, the Town of Spring City, Bradley County, and the City of Dunlap received Broadband Ready grants, which will support community-based digital skills training and deliver the technology necessary to equip communities with digital adoption resources. Congratulations to Stephania Motes, TCEcD, CPM, CMFO, Clint Huth, Adam Lewis, County Mayor Gregg Ridley, Mayor Hurley Marsh, County Mayor D. Gary Davis! Sequatchie County received a Connected Community Facilities Grant, which will enable workforce development, virtual health monitoring, virtual education, and broadband access, all within one building for communities throughout Tennessee. Congratulations to County Executive Keith Cartwright!
