What an incredible evening! ?? Over 700 supporters came together to raise an astounding $1.6M for Children's National Hospital — far surpassing our goal and setting a new record for the White Hat Gala! ?? A special thank you to the amazing committee, generous donors, the inspiring Sumakh, whose story moved us all, and the foundation team. The event was a success because of your hard work and dedication to the cause. A special thank you also goes out to our friends and partners in the AWS GSCA program who supported the cause, fellow WHG committee member Timothy Sandage, Schellman, Second Front, RISCPoint , 38North Security, and Fortreum. It’s an honor to be part of this event, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved together. The ideas are already flowing for next year’s 10th anniversary, and we can't wait to do it all again!

This represents an earlier effective date than previously forecasted. ? Still in process (i.e., under review) is the “CMMC Acquisition Rule”, which will enable DoD Acquisitions to start applying the CMMC Program Rule into solicitations. That application will come via DFARS Clause 252.204-7021,?Contractor Compliance with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Level Requirement. This rule is still targeted for release in Q2/Q3 2025. ? In the meantime, DIB contractors wanting to get assessed (commonly referred to as Organizations Seeking Assessment or OSAs) can now (in December) officially start engaging C3PAOs for CMMC Certification aligned to the Final Rule." #CMMC #FinalRule #OSA
