We’re thrilled to announce that Secure Our City has successfully secured another grant for one of our valued customers. This grant will play a vital role in enhancing the security of a religious site in Boston. Since launching our first community program in 2018, Secure Our City has been dedicated to giving back to causes where we can make a meaningful impact. Every year, we honor the legacy of Yochi Barash and Susan Shanahan (Sue)?by continuing their commitment to the community. Through partnerships with schools and religious institutions, we have provided security designs and grant-writing services at no cost. This achievement is a testament to the dedication of our team and the trust placed in us by our customers, partners, and supporters. Secure Our City wrote and submitted this grant to CNSJP, and its approval marks another milestone in our mission to build safer, more secure communities. This funding enables us to implement impactful projects that truly make a difference. Stay tuned for updates as we put this grant to work. As we celebrate the latest grant, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the incredible year we’ve had and the impact of our Community Outreach Program. Secure Our City launched its first community program in 2018. We continue every year to give back to a cause in which we feel can make a significant impact, while continuing to honor both my mother Yochi Barash and Sue for the people they were and their commitment to the community. In 2024, Secure Our City collaborated leaders, organizations, and residents to implement 3 different awards throughout the USA to further enhance security at a church, place of warships and schools. Secure our City community outreach is a program that exemplify our commitment to creating a positive, lasting change for the communities we serve. Secure Our City offers extensive security, technology, and low-voltage design and management services. Our team strives to address the ever-rising threats in the increasingly volatile world that we live in. Secure Our City was formed when the need to protect our children and public safety forces arose from the changing environment in the world. Over the years our focus has shifted to not only securing our public safety, schools and government to also focus on the increasing demand for integration between IT, security, and the ongoing management of such systems. Over time, the need to design an integrated system that includes security and low-voltage systems has grown exponentially. By bringing security and technology together, we can ensure that we are providing the best solution in the most cost-effective way to our clients. Secure Our City provides the core services necessary to implement enhanced security measures. We are proud to be equipment agnostic and installer independent, which allows engineers, architects, and building owners/managers to engage our company to design the right-sized, efficient and user-friendly systems. ?

A while back, we shared the exciting news about beginning our project for the School District in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Today, we’re proud to announce that the project is officially complete! ?? This comprehensive project encompassed six schools (K-12) across the entire district. We designed and managed a robust security and low-voltage solution tailored to their needs. Key features of the project include: CCTV Surveillance Access Control Systems Public Address (PA) Systems Mass Notification Systems Wi-Fi Infrastructure IP Phones Active Shooter Notification Systems It’s also worth noting that we collaborated closely with the town's police chief and school staff, leveraging our prior experience designing the local police station. Together, we ensured that the district is fully equipped to manage emergency situations effectively. This milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to enhancing safety within our communities.
