Second Chance Interventions [“SCI”] offers professional intervention services for individuals, corporations, State and local government agencies, Union employees, as well as small businesses that have a loyal and dependable employee that they suspect may have substance abuse issues. As an alternative to termination, if an employer would like to see their employee of concern engage in inpatient treatment, SCI can act as a consultant to facilitate this process. Rather than utilizing Human Resources or corporate principals to address the employee of concern, SCI stands as a sober advocate for both the employee and the employer working towards the common goal of sobriety in addition to an efficient, profitable, and safe workplace. SCI’s president, Attorney Ryan McGuigan, has been in the intervention/recovery space for over 11 years. As an attorney, he is uniquely placed to offer the employee of concern a level of confidentiality so that they may speak freely about their substance abuse issues and treatment consideration with the common goal of sobriety and continued employment. SCI works with the employer to utilize the most cost-effective level of treatment for the employee of concern. Finally, SCI provides reliable and sober transport companionship so that the employee of concern is ensured safe travels to and from the treatment facility.
