At COP29 Azerbaijan, Second Nature’s President, Tim Carter, joined a powerful America Is All In panel with climate leaders from Tec de Monterrey, UBC, and Ohio State University. Together, they explored how U.S., Canadian, and Mexican higher ed institutions are advancing climate solutions across research, teaching, social benefit, and co-creation to drive real impact.

Second Nature’s President, Tim Carter, participated in the Network of Networks roundtable at COP29 Azerbaijan. This session gathered global higher education leaders to set priorities for the coming year and explore ways to amplify their impact as non-state actors through the UNFCCC Marrakech Partnership and Global Climate Action Agenda.
