Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to moderate a Q&A with David Wilson, retired President of TRD, as part of his Distinguished Lecture, “Driven by the Power of a Team”, hosted in partnership between the Virginia Tech College of Engineering and the Student Engineers' Council at Virginia Tech during Engineers’ Week. What stood out to me most was his passion—for engineering, for teamwork, and for the people around him. You can feel how deeply he cares about everything he puts his mind to—whether it’s cars, leadership, or family. His energy and dedication were truly inspiring. A huge thank you to the students who joined in person and the alumni who joined online! It was amazing to see so many Hokies engaged in the discussion. Grateful for the opportunity to be part of this conversation and to learn from a leader who has built and led high-performing teams at the highest levels.
