Seb Planning and Development Ltd were pleased to attend the Mansfield Developer Form event at Mansfield District Council this morning. As ever the presentations were very informative and sparked plenty of debate around BNG which was the main topic of conversation.

Here at Seb Planning and Development Ltd we are feeling in reflective mood. It is 6 months and 1 day since the business was launched. It feels like much has occurred over a short space of time!! As we move into the second half of our first year in business, we would like to place on record our thanks to our clients for supporting us in this first year of business and placing your trust in us. We also extend our thanks to other similar SME's and other consultants/colleagues for the positive and open engagement since we have been trading. It certainly has been a busy time....August will also include a week in the sun with the family....... ?? so bear with me whilst the laptop also has a well earned holiday..... ?? ?? ??♂?

It has been a busy few months here at Seb Planning and Development Ltd. June and July have quickly come and gone! During this period we have been increasing both the number and variety of our client instructions, as well as delivering against existing commitments. Our new instructions have included planning appraisals (a good way of identifying genuine planning potential at the early stage as a landowner/prospective developer, without a significant outlay), a planning appeal for a Solar Farm and revisions to existing permissions for listed buildings and residential development sites. During this period, we have submitted 3 new planning applications and secured our first ever planning permission under the banner of Seb Planning and Development Ltd, as well as continuing to build our NSIP experience on behalf of an ongoing local authority client...…..amongst various other things. As we continue to develop our business, we are keen to engage with and work with others on a collaborative basis. Seb Planning and Development are now 6 weeks into trading and here are some of the highlights so far: 1. Production and launch of our website (https://sebplanning.com/). 2. Submission of our first planning application. 3. An ongoing commission for a LPA client. 4. Attendance at a (passionate) public consultation event for a major. planning application on behalf of a private sector client. 5. Countless meetings and conversations with clients, consultants and other colleagues, both virtually and face to face. 6. Our first face to face meeting with an LPA (seems a rarity nowadays) where a proactive and open conversation was held. At Seb Planning, we advocate an approach where open and robust professional conversations can be had, without the need to fall out. We value and support all members of the Town Planning industry and wherever possible we seek to put the 'fun' back into planning!
