As we wrap up another incredible year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on all we achieved in 2024. ?? ? Here are a few of our favorite moments: ? ??We served 1077 small businesses through our various program and services. ??Launched the first-in-nation Business Community Ownership Fund. ??Attended the ribbon cutting of the Overlook Walk. ??Launched The Liberty Project supporting the growth of 45 small, minority-owned businesses. ??We worked with?Seattle Department of Transportation?and the Seattle Music Commission on the Music Venue Loading Zone. ? This year’s achievements were only possible thanks to the incredible support from our community, partners, City staff, and, most importantly, YOU. ?? Huge shoutout to our amazing team for their hard work and dedication all year long! ?? ? ? Twice the fun and double the excitement – Good News Downtown turns two! ? ? For two years, we’ve been sharing the inspiring stories and vibrant happenings that make Downtown Seattle shine. ?? Today, we’re excited to mark this milestone and reflect on the positive energy flowing through our city! ?? ? Here are some of our favorite highlights that showcase the thriving spirit of Downtown: ? ?? Downtown got livelier as we celebrated the grand opening of the Overlook Walk, connecting Pike Place Market to the Waterfront. ??? Eight talented local artists joined the Promenade Pop-Ups program, showing off and selling their creations for a fun and unique retail experience. ??? Downtown experienced a burst of color with over 30 stunning murals, transforming the streets into a vibrant celebration of its rich arts and culture. ?? We cheered on our sports as a franchise record-breaking crowd of 18,343 fans packed Climate Pledge Arena to cheer on the Seattle Storm in their thrilling win against the Indiana Fever. ?? Seattle Aquarium’s new Ocean Pavilion is here, inviting everyone to enjoy immersive deep-sea adventures. ?? With over 29.5 million visits in 2024, Downtown Seattle continued to be a top destination for locals and travelers alike, buzzing with energy year-round. ?? Hundreds of volunteers came together for the One Seattle Day of Service, giving back and making a difference in the city we love. ?
