Seattle Sustainable Landscapes is a full-service landscaping company dedicated to bringing sustainable practices to the landscaping industry. Owned and Operated by David & Nicolette McCary. Seattle: This our is home, we’ve lived here our whole lives, and we have deep roots in the community. We can’t imagine living anywhere else. We love the people. We love the natural beauty. We love the city. Sustainable: A word with many facets and applications. Most people today think of climate change and carbon footprint when thinking of sustainability, which is great, so do we! But Sustainable has many more meanings. What about Sustainability within yourself? Your family? Neighborhood? Town? City? In addition to the global impact. Sustainable means ongoing excellence, not a flash in the pan, no shortcuts. Sustainable defines the way we interact our team, our customers, our suppliers as well as our environment. A framework for deciding how our actions today impact the world tomorrow. Landscapes: This captures the type of work we do, landscaping but also the vision that we bring to life. Every other month our teams do a Friday BBQ after work to spend some time together. The usual menu is carne asada tacos with all the fixings! At our most recent fiesta, our Landscape Designer Lisa blessed the team with a sightly different "flower design" than usual, in the form of a homemade Tres Leches cake. It was DIVINE.
