Join us in celebrating Black History Month! Did you know that Black History Month originated as Negro History Week in 1926, founded by Carter G. Woodson? Woodson's vision was to promote Black achievements and counter-historical erasure. Today, we honor the legacy of Black leaders who continue to shape our world. February was chosen to coincide with the birthdays of Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln, two pivotal figures in the fight for Black freedom and civil rights. This month, let's take time for: ?????Reflection: Acknowledge the triumphs and struggles of Black individuals and communities. ?????Education: Learn about the rich history and contributions of Black Americans. ?????Celebration: Honor the impact of Black leaders, innovators, and change-makers. ? Let's come together to recognize the profound influence of Black culture and heritage on our society.?Please share with us how you're celebrating Black History Month! #BlackHistoryMonth #CelebrateBlackExcellence #HonoringLegacy
