?? Ramadan is Around the Corner! ?? As Ramadan approaches, we want to take a moment to recognize and support our Muslim friends, colleagues, and neighbors during this special time of reflection, faith, and community. This year, Ramadan is expected to begin on the evening of March 1 and end on the evening of March 30 (depending on moon sighting). During this month, over two billion Muslims around the world will be fasting from dawn until sunset, deepening their spiritual connection and giving back to their communities. What this means for our Muslim colleagues: ?? Waking up early (around 3–5 AM) for a pre-dawn meal (Suhoor) ?? Fasting from sunrise to sunset—no food or water during the day ?? Spending evenings in prayer and reflection ?? A possible adjustment period in the first few days How we can be supportive: ?? Offer flexible scheduling when possible ?? Be mindful of meeting times and durations ?? Respect camera-off preferences in virtual meetings ?? Adjust workloads when needed ?? Accommodate time off for Eid al-Fitr (the big celebration at the end of Ramadan!) Let’s come together to create a thoughtful and supportive environment for our Muslim colleagues. A simple “Ramadan Mubarak!” (Happy Ramadan) goes a long way in showing support. Wishing everyone a peaceful and fulfilling Ramadan! ???
