关于我们
Hope. Care. Cure. These three simple words capture what we are here to do. That’s because at Seattle Children’s, compassionate care, breakthrough research and generous donors come together every day for the children, and the families, who need us. Over a century later, we continue to fight relentlessly to make sure there’s no such thing as “out of options” and to make sure kids who “didn't have a chance” can have the childhoods they deserve. At Seattle Children’s, we’re united by a compelling mission: We provide hope, care and cures to help every child live the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible. #HopeCareCure

?? It’s #MatchDay2025, one of the most exciting days for future doctors! Today, thousands of medical students across the country find out where they’ll begin the next chapter of their training. At CHA, we know these future pediatricians are essential to the health and well-being of our nation's children. That’s why we advocate for continued investments in the Children’s Hospitals Graduate Medical Education (CHGME) program. More than half of both pediatricians and pediatric specialists are trained at CHGME hospitals. Thanks to CHGME, America ensures the future of the next generation of our pediatric health care workforce. ???? Congratulations to all the new matches! You've chosen the best field to make a positive impact in the health and well-being of America's future! ?? ?? Learn more about the importance of CHMGE: https://lnkd.in/eZFXmHdG

Meet Vanessa, a 14-year-old girl with a passion for racquetball. She faced a major obstacle when she was diagnosed with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) along with a condition that caused her spine to curve as she grew, also known as anterior lumbar vertebral body tethering. Her diagnosis meant her spine needed a unique kind of ‘internal brace’ to help guide it into alignment. In 2023, Vanessa underwent surgery with Seattle Children’s expert orthopedic surgeon, Burt Yaszay, M.D. Both Vanessa and her care team at Seattle Children's South Clinic are thrilled to see her return to the racquetball court, stronger than ever.
