Volunteer Opportunity: Graphic Designer (Marketing Committee) ?? Do you have graphic design experience and a passion for helping animals? If so, we’d love to have you on our team! The Seattle Animal Foundation (SAF) is seeking a volunteer Graphic Designer to support our Marketing Committee. SAF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to raising critical funds for the Seattle Animal Shelter (SAS) and other regional shelters. We fund essential programs that the City of Seattle cannot support on its own. ? What You’ll Do: ?? Design print & digital materials for fundraising campaigns and events. ?? Support branding, advertising, and marketing efforts. ?? Work closely with the Design Lead and Marketing Committee. ?? What You Bring: ?? Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator). ?? Experience with Canva (template creation is a plus). ?? Strong understanding of layout, typography, and color principles. ?? Ability to work within existing style guidelines while bringing creative ideas. ?? A collaborative mindset and a passion for Seattle’s shelter pets! ???? ?? The Seattle Animal Foundation (SAF) is seeking a Marketing Co-Chair to help grow awareness and support for our 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to Seattle’s animals. This volunteer Board of Directors role requires 5 hours per week, a 3-year term commitment, and attendance at monthly Board meetings (currently virtual, likely returning to in-person in Seattle). ?? What You’ll Do: ? Manage and guide marketing committee volunteers in email marketing, social media, and website content. ? Develop and maintain a marketing strategy and content calendar. ? Collaborate with Board members, staff, and volunteers. ?? What You Bring: ?? Experience in growth marketing, content strategy, or digital marketing. ?? Strong collaboration skills and experience in email, social media, and website engagement (organic & paid). ?? Passion for helping animals and supporting our mission. ?? Bonus: Experience in public relations, paid advertising, or nonprofit work. ?? Board Member Expectations: ?? 3-year term commitment. ?? $1,000 annual contribution (funds or in-kind donations; solicited items & event ticket sales count). ??
