We our so excited about our Fall Teen Girl’s Programming sessions, beginning October 1st! Sessions will be held every Tuesday from 4-6pm at CAFE. Sessions will include topics like self care, self advocacy, creating boundaries, sisterhood and more. What is our women’s cohort? Our cohort is a 8-week program dedicated to providing a safe and empowering space for women of color to excel and elevate in their careers. Our goal is to equip participants with the tools and resources they need to achieve new heights in both their professional and personal lives. Additionally, this cohort is designed to foster sisterhood and build a strong community of like-minded women who support and uplift each other.Cohort sessions will begin on 9/26/2024 at 6:00pm and will end on 11/14/2024. We would like to extend one final recognition to Nichole Wilson our Woman of the Year, for her exceptional contributions to our community. Nichole serves as the Vice President of Community Health Operations at IU Health, where her team develops and implements innovative strategies to enhance access to care through advocacy and policy initiatives, as well as by providing direct screenings within the community. In addition to her professional role, Nichole is deeply engaged in community service. She serves on the boards of the Madam Walker Legacy Center, the African American Legacy Fund, Dress for Success – Stepping Out In Style, DePauw University’s Board of Visitors, and the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Program. She is also actively involved in numerous other community initiatives. This overview only begins to capture the extent of Nichole’s community involvement. It was an honor to recognize her at Sisterhood at the Conservatory.
