Last week, Morgan Flannery proudly represented Season Health alongside leaders from the National Produce Prescription Collaborative, the American Heart Association, and the International Fresh Produce Association. The conversation led to actionable opportunities for Congress to advance the growing Food as Medicine movement. These include increasing funding for nutrition research at the NIH, expanding MNT coverage for Medicare recipients, and enforcing guidelines to ensure Medicare Advantage and Medicaid waiver dollars are directed toward nutritious food. We were particularly excited to be joined by @Representative Moore of Wisconsin—a state where Season Health has made significant strides through our innovative partnership with Froedtert Health. Rep. Moore shares our passion for leveraging nutrition to improve maternal health outcomes, making this discussion even more meaningful. #FoodAsMedicine #NutritionMatters #HealthcareInnovation #PublicHealth #MaternalHealth #Medicare #NutritionResearch #Medicaid #HealthEquity #NIH #MNT #CongressAction #ProducePrescription #HealthPolicy #SeasonHealth #FroedtertHealth #RepresentativeMoore #WellnessThroughFood Dariush Mozaffarian Feeding Tampa Bay Lorena Hardwick Kevin Volpp Food As Medicine Institute Mollie Van Lieu

Meet Tegan ?? Tegan is a Registered Nurse who joined Season Health for support as she navigated her recent pregnancy journey. Like all pregnancy patients, Tegan faced specific challenges that required tailored solutions and one-on-one support: she had a difficult time gaining weight during her pregnancy and also experienced shifts in her nutrient needs after giving birth. Fortunately, Tegan’s Registered Dietitian, Erin Domachowski MS, RD, LDN, was alongside her every step of the way. Erin provided Tegan with guidance on food choices to help her meet the needs of her growing baby — as well as reassurance and behavioral support both before and after her pregnancy. She connected with Erin directly through the Season app — along with her customized nutrition prescription, pre-made meals, and educational resources. We invite you to listen to Tegan’s story below — and learn how our clinical nutrition program improves outcomes for patients with high-risk pregnancy here: https://lnkd.in/d7yBuHkm #pregnancy #foodasmedicine #nutritioncare

By combining the customization and consumer experience made possible through tech alongside the personal, expert care of Registered Dietitians, Season Health is driving sustainable health outcomes for our patients every day.
