Environmental Design, Inc. transplanting a 37” diameter live oak, with a 36’ diameter rootball. This beautiful live oak will be the focal point of a public garden that provides pedestrian access from St Philips Street to King Street, a much better home than the parking lot it was in. The tree was transplanted for Courier Square II. Greystar is building Courier Square, a 300-unit residential and retail development on King Street on the peninsula downtown Charleston, SC. Positioned to be "where dedication meets innovation," the new Wellford Academy of Science & Technology welcomed nearly 500 students at the start of the 2024 school year! The inspirational new school replaces an aging facility on the same site, and is designed to accommodate up to 900 students in an effort to alleviate the unprecedented growth in the Spartanburg, SC area.
