Since 1984, SEAMAAC has brought crucially needed support to tens of thousands of families in the Greater Philadelphia area. Today SEAMAAC stands as one of the oldest and largest refugee-founded agencies in the region. Our work continues to be guided by the belief that the contributions of immigrant and native-born Americans strengthen the communities where they live together and add depth and richness to the cultural tapestry of our nation.

?? Celebrating my 3 Years at Seamaac! ?? Today marks my third anniversary at Seamaac, and I am incredibly proud of the journey and achievements thus far. Over the past three years, I've had the privilege of managing and continuing to lead three main programs that are pivotal to our mission of supporting immigrants, refugees, and marginalized communities. ? Program Highlights: 1-Citizenship Program: Successfully assisted over 300 individuals in applying for US citizenship, helping them to take crucial steps toward realizing their American dream. 2-Digital Navigation Program: Focused on promoting digital access and equity, ensuring that our community members have the necessary resources and skills to thrive in an increasingly digital world. 3-ESL Program: Dedicated to providing adult education in English, helping participants gain the language skills they need to secure jobs and access opportunities in the American workplace. Working with such resilient and inspiring individuals has been a transformative experience. Each program aims to empower our community members, and it's truly rewarding to see the positive impact on their lives. A heartfelt thank you to my amazing team, our dedicated volunteers, and the incredible individuals we serve. Your hard work and commitment are the backbone of our success. Last evening(6/28/2024), I had a wonderful opportunity to attend a Community Unity dinner at Tioga, Hope Park and Garden in North Philadelphia. The Garden, located at 20th and Tioga, is a welcoming place where you can enjoy the greenery and where food is grown for the Community. It was amazing to see the community come together for an evening of fun, laughter, LIVE music and great food! Thanks to all the local chefs who gave their time and donated delicious food! Presented by SEAMAAC Neighborhood Gardens Trust The People's Kitchen The Asian American Foundation and Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) this truly was a community coming together for the betterment of a neighborhood and all who live there. Wonderful to meet so many wonderful members of the community!
