Big win for the environment! ?? California just passed the groundbreaking AB 1628 – Microfiber Pollution Prevention Bill, set to make a major impact on reducing ocean plastic pollution! Starting in 2029, all new washing machines sold in the state will be required to include filters to catch harmful microfibers before they reach our waterways. Why is this HUGE? ?? Microfibers, tiny plastic particles shed from our clothes, are one of the most common pollutants in our oceans, damaging marine life and ecosystems.
