Most companies are born from one brilliant, functional idea. For Sea Bags, it was the Jeb Tote. Jeb, a fisherman on Custom House Wharf (the wharf we call home), used his recycled sailcloth Sea Bag every day to carry his tools and supplies. When he passed away, his wife gifted the well-loved bag back to our CEO, the founder of Sea Bags. That gesture wasn’t just about returning a tote—it was about community, heritage, and the spirit of sustainability. The original Jeb Tote was refined over the years into what we call the Wharf Tote, still beloved today. It’s proof that one idea, rooted in purpose, can spark a legacy. Digging out a spinnaker sail with some ?? heart ?? and all the Watercolor Heart Totes and Buckets we could find, we gathered our Crew from Kitting, Stitching, Product Development, Inventory and Marketing to help launch our fundraising to support the life-saving efforts of the American Heart Association’s Life Is Why? Campaign. Giving back to our local community is at the heart of what we do. We aim to have the biggest impact through a variety of ways, but often taking form of charitable campaigns like this one.
