Just returned from GHTA ( Gift and Home Trade Association) in Charleston SC. Wonderful convention. Lots of inspired professional content. It was delightful to connect with so many industry talents. It's ribbon cutting time at SE Marketplace! Retailers are loving our expanded new showroom featuring Batela, Matrix and Thinprints by M&W Design. From left to right -Tammi Rampelberg our AMAZING showroom manager who made it all happen, Paul Cardoza, National Sales Director of Batela, the spectacular home decor line that celebrates coastal living, Robin Kert, President of SE Marketplace and Mason Lee of Diverse Companies (parent company), whose partnership has helped us prosper and grow.

Two days into Atlanta Gift Show and this is the #3 item in our entire showroom. A total home run. Bravo Jilzarah!

What a great evening at the 73rd REI ( Retailer Excellence Awards hosted by Gift and Decorative Accessories) in Dallas. Congratulations to all the finalists. What a resilient, creative, friendly and inspired industry. Below ( left to right) is me (Robin Kert - President SE Marketplace) our fabulous Shilpa Hill ( winner of Top Rep Southeast Region ) and Wes Hardin ( President of Diverse Companies) a 60 year old rep agency that a year and a half ago purchased SE Marketplace. It has been a joy to become part of the Diverse family of companies. Everyone wants to know "how is this new affiliation working?" It has been seamless; expanding our capacity, and provinding a fabulous sounding board for growth and learning. We are better together. Last night was a celebration of the power of retailers, reps, and vendors to work together and deliver a great consumer experience. SE Marketplace is proud to be part of this amazing chain of interconnected businesses known as the Gift And Decorative Accessories industry. So glad I went on that blind date that catapulted me into this industry, in December 1981!

Shilpa won Sales Representative of the Year ?? So much fun, so well deserved. She spoke beautifully and thanked everyone in SE Marketplace, her rep agency family who inspire and support her every single day, our fabulous family of brands that give her creative and beautiful products to sell, and the retail customers she serves, who are loyal friends and inspired business people.

We are expanding again! 2500 sq. ft. of prime aisle space contiguous to our current showroom. Super exciting. Come check it out at the upcoming Atlanta Gift Market. 13th floor, building 2. Floor goes down tomorrow, we paint the walls Friday and then the real fun begins with fresh product and exciting new displays.
