Innovation day in San Diego is always exciting! This year, Connect started with a special VIP day focused on everything we all needed to hear about upcoming innovations. It was inspiring and thrilling to see all of these amazing brains in one place. A special thank you to San Diego State University alum Peggy Johnson and to our partner Zabrina Johal for accepting our invite to speak. Both of your contributions were amazing! Also, thank you to my UCSD colleagues Corinne Peek-Asa and Paul Roben for helping shape the conversation about what makes our city's higher ed institutions so special and the larger contribution of higher ed to this region.
