Envision a world where doctors no longer need to perform invasive surgeries to treat medical conditions in the brain, heart, or other complex regions of the body. ?? In a new National Science Foundation (NSF) collaborative research study, Dr. Amneet Bhalla of San Diego State University and Dr. Nitesh Nama of University of Nebraska-Lincoln will run computer simulations to investigate the potential use of microbubbles and acoustics for targeted drug delivery and treatment in patients. ??
