For the first time since 2012, both SDSU men’s and women’s basketball teams are headed to the NCAA Tournament ?? This milestone shows how Aztecs athletics continues to grow and compete at the highest level. The SDSU women’s basketball team (No. 14 seed) take on No. 3 LSU this Saturday after an incredible Mountain West Tournament run, capped by a triple-overtime championship win. The SDSU men's basketball team (No. 11 seed) face North Carolina on Tuesday, looking to keep their postseason journey alive. With Selection Sunday behind us, the road to the tournament is set. “SDSU was the starting point for my current career, and for that I am forever grateful!” San Diego State University alumna Mandy Falmion (‘15) received a Bachelor's of Science in nutrition while also cheering for the SDSU cheer team. She later earned her MBA and now serves as the Director of Child Nutrition Services at Santee School District.
