Help us rebuild the Arts and Crafts Building at Camp Winacka—a space where girls can express themselves, heal, and grow through art. For Gold Award Girl Scout Alum and Lifetime Member Daisy Flint, art has always been a lifeline—a way to find her voice and build her identity. “Growing up, Girl Scouts was my constant, and camp was where I could dive into my passion for creativity and friendship.” Art is about more than just creating; it's about connecting, exploring, and embracing who you are. With your support, we can ensure girls continue to have a space where they can be bold, colorful, and free to create without limits. Visit https://lnkd.in/gDJKYW4z to donate and learn more today!???

Girl Scouts is a nonpartisan movement, dedicated to serving all girls, families, and communities. Our commitment to empowering girls and women transcends any political climate. ? At Girl Scouts San Diego, we’ll continue to champion programs that empower girls, foster civic engagement, and encourage community service. Teaching girls how to think critically and engage constructively is a central part of what we do. We will continue to equip girls with the tools and perspectives they need to navigate complex issues, contribute meaningfully to society, and become resilient, ethical leaders. ? Regardless of the political landscape, our focus remains on building a strong, empowered generation of girls who can lead, advocate, and impact positive change in their communities. Together, we’ll continue to work toward our strategic plan/vision, support our mission, inspire hope, and champion a future where every girl has a sense of well-being and the opportunity to thrive.??? ? Wildfire prevention in California is essential for safeguarding our communities, ecosystems, and natural resources. Take a look at the transformation of our Julian property as we implement our Forest Management Plan.?? These photos highlight our progress in removing dead and dying trees, creating open spaces that promote new growth and provide vital habitats for wildlife, while also reducing materials that fuel wildfires. ?? ? Our goal is to eliminate wildfire fuels, reintroduce native plants through our nursery project, and create an enriching educational experience for Girl Scouts. ? The retaining wall for our native plant nursery is on its way!??The wall is being constructed with high-quality railroad ties and rebar, which once it’s complete will be 170-feet.
