The Board of Directors has unanimously elected Chris Howard, President & CEO of Sharp HealthCare, as our incoming Board Chair, and Christine Moore, Executive Director of AT&T External Affairs, as incoming Vice Chair. We’re thrilled to welcome this dynamic leadership team in 2025.

Met roughly 54 new people last night at a San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce event.. here's proof. Networking pro tip: Always have a firm handshake, a great pitch, and a plate of sliders within arm’s reach. Loved rubbing shoulders with San Diego’s vibrant professional community—these folks are doing some seriously impressive things. I’ll take any excuse to learn a few things, talk shop, swap stories and get a rooftop tour legally (not pictured). I am truly honored to have received the "Stepping Up in Sacramento" award from the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce at their annual Legislative Lounge event! ?? A heartfelt thank you to the Chamber for their tireless efforts in fostering collaboration and innovation within the San Diego region. I'm so happy to partner with you in this role! Special shout out to Jessica Anderson, Justine Murray, Evan Strawn, Kenia Zamarripa, and Lauren Cazares for all their support. I also want to extend my gratitude to Senator Catherine Blakespear and our fantastic team for their trust and support. It’s a privilege to work alongside such talented individuals. Congratulations to my fellow awardees as well! I'm really proud of San Diego and it’s inspiring to see so many amazing folks working every day to make this region better. This morning, the Chamber hosted U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Ken Salazar and his team at the Chamber offices for a meeting in follow-up of the Chamber's recent delegation to Mexico City, followed by a press conference. The topics discussed included border infrastructure efficiency, the Tijuana River Valley Crisis, binational relations expectations with the U.S. president-elect, and much more. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the U.S. Embassy to Mexico team in the years ahead. ????
