A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in Barrio Logan last Thursday at Ryan Bros Coffee for our recent volunteer recruitment event! We had a wonderful time connecting with our community, learning about coffee roasting, and enjoying delicious treats. Kellan and Alex's story is a testament to the power of mentorship. Matched since Kellan was 12, Big Brother Alex has been a steady guiding light, helping Kellan grow into a confident young man. A true history buff with a passion for the military, Kellan joined the Navy straight out of high school. He recently graduated from the Navy’s elite Nuclear Power School and is now a Machinist's Mate Nuclear Third Class, preparing for a deployment on the USS Carl Vinson. ? We're incredibly proud of Kellan's achievements and grateful for the impact of mentors like Big Brother Alex.

Supporting our Veterans and their families is a mission we hold dear. Through Operation Bigs, we provide mentorship and support to military families, including active duty, veteran and Gold Star families, ensuring that children have strong role models and a sense of belonging. To date, Operation Bigs has inspired the expansion of over 30 Big Brothers Big Sisters affiliates across the country.
