SC TEACHER provides comprehensive research about South Carolina’s educator workforce by expanding a statewide data network and reporting on results that inform policy and practice. Our work is built on a comprehensive and strategic approach to gather, synthesize, and utilize state-specific data to better understand the impact of educator pipeline policies and practice on teacher effectiveness. Networking with a variety of agencies, SC TEACHER serves as a statewide central resource for data management and aggregation about our educator workforce. Our mission is to promote transformative practices that inform policymakers, educators, and communities who care about education scaling economic opportunity.
