    Should a digital display in a window, in a major city center, be classified as an "urban panel?" So as long as that digital screen's audience is made up of pedestrians and possibly vehicular traffic, then my answer is unequivocally.... YES! If the purpose of an outdoor-facing screen in a window is to reach the same audience than if it were not behind a 6mm pane of glass, then it should be considered an outdoor screen. To even have to argue the point feels unnecessary, and frankly insignificant relative to the bigger initiatives we, as an industry, need to be pushing to make OOH much larger than it is. At Screenverse, we have sent thousands of POP photos of outdoor-facing digital displays in windows to buyers and agencies across the US. We haven't experienced a single instance of a programmatic buyer questioning why such a screen was designated as an "urban panel." If anything, we have received positive feedback on the look and feel of the specialized DOOH placements. Will arguing this point, and making it a point of consternation between the haves and have nots in our industry, help usher in the next billion dollars to DOOH? That's an easy "NO." While the DOOH venue taxonomy needs to be updated, we should be focused on ways doing so can help bring more dollars into our channel. #OOH #DOOH
