The race to 24/7 carbon-free energy (CFE) continues to heat up, both for corporate energy buyers looking to procure it and solutions providers trying to solve it. In our latest white paper, Scout's Director of Origination?Beth Davis?breaks down what 24/7 CFE really means, how we can get there, and the role that large-scale renewable energy developers like Scout will play. https://lnkd.in/gXecCvi8

Scout's annual Volunteer Day this fall was our largest ever. Scouts spread out across Boulder to work with some of the great local organizations in our City in what was a perfect encapsulation of how we put our six core values into action for anything we do at Scout. We are excited to announce that Michael Rucker, CEO and Founder of Scout, and Connor Teskey from Brookfield Asset Management, have been recognized in Tamarindo's Energy Transition Power List for 2024. This list honors 100 individuals making the greatest impact on the energy transition through their work in wind, solar, storage, and power-to-x projects. This recognition reflects the great work of everyone on our team as we work to build a cleaner energy grid. Congratulations to Michael and Connor, and to all the other incredible leaders helping to drive our industry forward!

This week, Scouts from across the nation came together for the Fall edition of our semi-annual All Hands Meeting here in Boulder. All Hands Meetings are a time to focus on the future and how Scout is building for the long term. At 175 employees and counting, the focus on culture, connectivity, and collaboration was stronger than ever this week. We kicked off the festivities with our annual Scout Volunteer Day on Tuesday, where Scouts had the option to participate in a service day at one of five fantastic local organizations: Growing Gardens, EcoCycle, Boulder Civic Area, East Boulder Community Center, and Meals on Wheels, all while getting to know their colleagues and strengthening bonds within their teams. Then, throughout the week, we heard from team members across our many departments as they shared their knowledge and successes with the company as a whole, wrapping up each night with company-wide events. We would like to give a special thank you to our Markum Solar Farm landowners, Sara Brazelton and Jennifer Barefoot, for joining us at our team dinner last night!

This weekend, Scout sponsored Jack's Solar Garden and The Alliance for Collective Action's annual Harvest the Sun event. Scouts attended the celebration and enjoyed live music and appetizers made from this year's harvest under the solar panels while connecting with our community members and learning about the intersection of agrivoltaics and regenerative agriculture. Thank you to Jack's and the Alliance for putting on such a fantastic event!

To kick off Labor Day weekend, we made our annual trip to see our hometown Colorado Rockies last week, sharing good company at Coors Field, known for its offense-heavy games in Denver's altitude and thin air. Even though the Rockies didn't pull out the win, the 20-run game certainly lived up to the park's reputation!
