3M is dedicated to helping protect the health and safety of first responders and communities affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles. Through our partnership with Direct Relief, 3M has provided 5 million N95 respirators to aid Direct Relief’s global humanitarian response efforts.
Wildfires not only destroy homes and infrastructure but also have significant and long-lasting effects on public health. As wildfires become more frequent and severe, the health risks to individuals and communities continue to grow, particularly for those already vulnerable. Direct Relief is on the ground in Los Angeles, distributing 3M N95 respirators to those impacted by the wildfire smoke and delivering hygiene kits to evacuation shelters. Free respirators will be available for pickup today, 1-5pm, at two locations: Koreatown YMCA Center for Community Well-being 433 S.
