Friday was an exciting day in SCOPOS's Culinary Center. The morning started with equipment demos led by representatives from Moccia Enterprises, Inc. and Schmid Dewland Associates, who were joined by our client to showcase the latest in industry-leading equipment. The session highlighted the exceptional performance and benefits of the RATIONAL AG, Merrychef?, and Kaliber self-contained cooking station, demonstrating how these tools elevate any kitchen. ? The day didn’t slow down there. We hosted our annual Thanksgiving potluck, and it was a success. The team brought an incredible variety of delicious dishes, leaving no one disappointed. The turkey, slow-roasted overnight in-house using the RATIONAL AG oven, was the star of the feast—everyone was eager to know Chef Matt’s secret. ? We also held our annual Bake-Off competition, which filled the table with amazing desserts. Shoutout to our Bookkeeper, Hope Clough, for winning the contest with her Butter Braid homemade bread! With great food and even better company, it was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season!

Last but not least! Our 7th project awarded the SHN Awards goes out to Broadview Senior Living in third place in CCRC/ Life Plan! Visit the Senior Housing News link to read more about it: https://lnkd.in/eD--GV4Y Broadview Senior Living is one of the first university-based retirement communities that has reimagined senior living by fostering a connection between students and residents. We implemented our food service design services to create a flex bar and kitchen at the heart of the learning commons, where residents and students can come together. The community now also features a coffee shop and market, offering a fast-casual environment, a bar that complements the full-service restaurant, and an expo kitchen that serves as a live action station and transforms into a teaching kitchen for an engaging culinary experience. The overall transformation of this project has created an impactful dining experience for residents and guests and is a vibrant addition to the community, blending education, socialization, and quality dining into one cohesive space.
