I am a Wilson Herrera, a Mechanical Engineer with +13 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, in multinational Oil & Gas and Mining companies. Last of my three years of experiences were in International Assignments. This experience in all the different areas within Supply Chain, allows me to identify improvements areas with a holistic perspective for Personnel, Cost, Time, Quality, Technology, Resources and Safety. The company that I have worked for has recognized my initiatives for operational and financial improvements with several promotions. During all the different assignments and projects that I have worked for, the most important accomplished goal is to make sure that all the team members working with me (clients, employees, contractors, and subcontractors) can return safely to their homes every day; I have developed and implemented a methodology that engages the safety awareness at all levels, and with more than 13 Years of work, more that 12 different Teams, approximately 300 direct reports, all of them had return home safely. The second most important goal is to implement a Lean Process Methodology under three main aspects: improve your Process, development of People and use or implementation of Technology. As a Supply Chain professional, during my career I have been considered as a SME Subject Mater Expert for the implementation of new Process and Technology projects. With the adequate process, team and technology, the third main goal is planning and executing Financial and Operational KPIs, for example: Inventory reduction/optimization, increasing the Free Cash Flow and Profit for the company. Procurement Savings, including negotiation of multimillion contracts for Oil & Gas and Mining related services, with highly complex Contractual Terms and Conditions and important Savings obtained. Operational Cost Savings. Reducing transportation cost by improving strategies within the TMS Transport Management System, including consolidation
