The J.B. Hunt Transport Department of Supply Chain Management at the University of Arkansas was honored to attend and represent our program at the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) Retail Supply Chain Conference in Orlando this week. This conference provided an invaluable experience for our eight students, giving them the opportunity to engage with industry leaders, gain insights into the latest trends and challenges, and explore innovations shaping the future of retail supply chains.
We are deeply grateful for the professionals from H-E-B, Blue Yonder, J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc., Walmart, Foot Locker, General Mills, L.L.Bean, ArcBest, Unilever, and many others who took the time to connect with and mentor our students. Their engagement plays a crucial role in developing the next generation of supply chain leaders.
Additionally, we were thrilled to announce our partnership with Blue Yonder for our Graduate School, further strengthening our commitment to providing cutting-edge education and industry collaboration opportunities. Special thanks to Jon Carson for his time and commitment to our program.
A special thank you to our students (Sam Guitteau, Joli Ducharme, William Lovell, Brooklyn Kriger, Connor Vogt, Caroline Wilson, Gerson Perez, and Aaryn Satterfield) for their enthusiasm and dedication, as well as to Donnie Williams, Brian Fugate, Christopher Holloway, Brian Johnson, Iana Shaheen, and Richard Heller for their leadership in making this experience possible. We look forward to building on this momentum and continuing to bridge the gap between academia and industry.
