关于我们
Science from Scientists’ mission is to teach and inspire the next generation to identify and solve real-world problems by improving Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) literacy. Our vision is to inspire students, ignite interest, and improve STEM competency with the goal of filling the workforce pipeline with talented, competent individuals. Using charismatic, real scientists as instructors, SfS complements during school curricula every other week throughout the academic year with hands-on lessons informed by MCAS and other curriculum frameworks. Where do we teach? We serve schools in the Greater Boston and Great Worcester areas in Massachusetts, as well as the San Francisco Bay area in California and the Twin Cities area in Minnesota. What do we teach? Our real, charismatic scientist instructors have developed a library of 90+ hands-on, frameworks-based STEM modules on anatomy, astronomy, biochemistry, biology, botany, cartography, chemistry, ecology, electrical engineering, forensic science, geology, materials engineering, meteorology, nutrition, physics, and statistics. Custom STEM programs tailored to your school or group: one-day, short-term, or year-long programs available.

A special thank you to Jamf for their help in preparing and packing 164 SciSci take-home kits during our Kit Build event last week! This amazing group of 64 volunteers came together to cut, assemble, and pack take-home STEM kits for our Candy Chromatography and Fingerprinting lessons. Not only did they help pack the kits, but they were also able to participate in the activities themselves. It was a very productive and fun afternoon in Minneapolis. Thank you, Jamf! ??

Science from Scientists is deeply grateful to @SiliconLabs for their generous donation supporting our programs in the Boston and San Jose/Silicon Valley regions since 2022. This year's contribution enables us to continue delivering hands-on STEM education to students, fostering curiosity and empowering the next generation of innovators in these areas—serving approximately 7,100 students across 51 elementary and middle schools. Silicon Labs' commitment to community engagement and education is evident through their philanthropic efforts, including donations to charitable organizations focused on STEM education, diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as addressing critical community needs. With their support, we are better equipped to bridge the STEM skills gap and inspire young minds to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
