Scintillating Solutions LLC

I have been involved in R&D for High Energy Physics over a decade, trying to make and characterize higher performance superconducting composites for high field magnets. Sometimes it is hard to understand and remember what each HEP program is doing (Particle Physics are out of my wheelhouse). The documentary below is one of the greats (alongside "Everything and Nothing" (2012)) to remind what the purpose of some big science projects are for. The image is kind of goofy looking, but the documentary is solid. https://lnkd.in/d2njDTJP Scintillating Solutions LLC has been keeping busy with NASA, R2R, and AFRL programs; and sometimes it is nice to step back and look at the big physical picture which can cover complexities like turbulence, nucleation and growth, Entropy, and microstructural evolution.

I hope everybody has a good day of remembrance for US Veterans. War is hell, and to those that have served to protect us and our allies, thank you.

Grab a plane/train/automobile/unicycle because I will be presenting at the Applied Superconductivity Conference 2024 (Sept 1-6, Salt Lake City, UT) and the Turbine Engine Technology Symposium 2024 (Sept 9-12, Dayton, OH). ASC is related to the ongoing NASA CHEETA work and TETS is related to ongoing and future work for transpiration-cooled UHTC composites for MHD generators.

Attendence and participation in the 2024 AIAA-Aviation Forum in Las Vegas, NV was quite the treat. Seeing the big names, sharing ideas, and making connections is what it is all about!
