It was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to participate in the ScienceUs Upscale Academy Bootcamp in Berlin. Thank you for all the lessons learned, the experiences shared, and the citizen science methodologies presented, as well as for the wonderful collaborative network that has been created. Our colleagues, Pilar and Carlota, presented the project 'For Another Diet, Youth in Action!', which was selected along with 24 other projects in the seed phase of the ScienceUs project. They are already excitedly preparing the upscale strategy. We will share more about this citizen science initiative soon. ScienceUs Bootcamp in Berlin! ?? ?? 12-13 March 2025 ?? Museum für Naturkunde Berlin The ScienceUs Upscale Academy is kicking off with its Seed Phase, an exciting opportunity for citizen science initiatives across the EU to scale up and create meaningful impact. During this phase: ? 25 top-ranked citizen science initiatives selected. ? Participants will attend the Berlin Bootcamp to receive training, coaching, and guidance on scaling strategies. ? At the end of the phase, 5 standout projects will move forward for further support! ?? The Bootcamp agenda includes sessions on project scaling, citizen science, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on workshops like "Plastic Pirates – Go Europe!" and the Adaptation AGORA project on climate change adaptation as well as cropsCS project. ?? What’s Next? These projects, chosen for their scalability, impact, and alignment with EU priorities, will now embark on the next phase of their journey: ? Bootcamp in Berlin (March 2025) Here, they will: ?? Learn about scaling strategies & citizen science excellence ?? Develop their transnational campaign and upscaling plan ?? Network with experts, stakeholders, and fellow innovators ?? Take part in hands-on workshops on funding, engagement & policy impact ?
