Congratulations to Science Creates member QLM Technology Ltd and alum WASE for each winning coveted awards at the Tech South West Awards in Bristol last week! QLM Technology Ltd received the Innovation Award for the development of its advanced quantum lidar cameras to detect and measure greenhouse gas emissions. By enabling continuous monitoring of the world’s largest emitters, like methane, QLM Technology Ltd offers an effective solution to pinpointing leaks with 3D accuracy in the oil and gas industry. WASE scooped up the Sustainability Award for its work transforming organic waste into renewable energy and nutrient-rich fertilizer through its advanced microbial electrolysis technology. This unique process, which treats waste up to ten times faster than traditional anaerobic digestion, allows companies to both sustainably manage their waste and generate an on-site energy source, supporting a circular economy approach.
