"March 14 becomes a really important day because that’s the day that we have to have a new spending bill for the United States government. And that will set spending levels for the rest of fiscal year 2025 for the federal government and the federal agencies." AAAS CEO Sudip Parikh told Science Friday. "Those spending levels take a long time to increase, and the United States has been investing in science for 80 years.
