Earlier this month wrapped up our 2025 Mortuary Science Scholarship Program with our in-person event in Houston, Texas. I was exceptionally proud of and grateful for our team members that did an amazing job running the program and executing on the virtual and in-person events. A very touching story from Gage Goulding with KPRC in Houston. Through a series of unfortunate events, the ashes of Michael Armstrong’s mother were misplaced and ultimately found placed under a tree in #Houston by a good Samaritan. Kineta Lewis at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park was able to return Michael’s mother to him in a touching #reunion. With the rise in #cremation rates, this is a gentle reminder of the importance of #cremation #memorialization and offering #families and friends a place to gather and reflect. https://lnkd.in/d6NQVXsp
